Verner is a 1st team preseason All American per ESPN and is a MATH AND APPLIED SCIENCE MAJOR at UCLA, one of the elite academic institutions in the country. He has been named Academic All Pac-10 two years running in an extremely difficult major. Suffice it to say that studying political science at ASU is about as difficult as high school Home Ec. compared to Math and applied science at UCLA. 2) It bears repeating, Mike Nixon goes to school at a glorified community college.
