I left a lot out.

It was funny to see Chip Kelly's stoic reactions and then they'd switch to Stoops and he'd be jumping around like a damn monkey.

Sounds like the postgame scene was pretty ugly.

And wow to Jeff Maehl and all the receivers. As many drops as we've had this year, that 80 yard, instant classic drive featured receivers getting it done. The only drop was by D.J. Davis but that wasn't a great pass.

Edit: Found this video on educk that shows the postgame barrage of water bottles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pylgWDa1rlk

Old man has a good memory. I couldn't think of what you were talking about, but I looked it up and Oregon won at Arizona 44-41 in 1999. Same score just ten years ago and that was indeed that birth of Joey Harrington's legend. I couldn't find a game story but I think he relieved A.J. Feeley in the second half and led the comeback. Good one.

This game definitely rivals the november game in the desert of almost ten years ago when the comeback kid [Joey Harrington]pulled off a late in the game win. I did a lot of dancing that night also.
feels so good. lets do it again next game.
GO!!!!!!!!!!!! DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I may add to your list of the game's wonders:

The drive late in the 4th quarter to tie the game will become legendary joining similar drives in other great seasons led by other great UO QBs.

The Costa snap hold on that extra point illustrated just how skilled and poised Costa is. Oops, you already listed that. It bears repeating.

Maehl is a stud. Period.

Mike Stoops is an incessant whiner. The whole Stoops family are incessant whiners. There are few things better than Arizona and Oklahoma losing on the same day.

The UA fans are classless. In addition to getting on the sidelines with time still on the clock, they showered the field with water bottles after the game. One hit a UO player in the pads and one of them hit a UO cheerleader in the head. She was taken to the hospital with a likely concussion. Idiots.

The CW is going to be epic as will be the lead up to it. This is the time that great football teams and bloggers rise to the highest levels of performance. Nick, make us proud. :-)
