I’m admittedly well off my game heading into the season, so this notice comes kind of late, but I set up an Off The Pond College Pick ‘Em group at ESPN.com.

Feel free to join in and play along. Keeping with the theme of past contests, I offer no prizes. Nothing. Not even a congratulations. It’s simply for the right to say you are the best at picking college football games among a small group of readers of a niche blog. Pretty heady stuff.

If I’ve managed to maintain a few readers after all the absent months and corresponding feelings of abandoment, well, hopefully a few of you will join in.
