Came down with a case of the “shakes” due to a lack of football (curse you Tuesday and Wednesday!). Feeling much better now.
As usual, I’ve tried to sprinkle in some links that are harder to find.
-
This week has become a little wacky. Oregon is playing the other team’s fight song; a former Duck turned Vol has some hard feelings; another former Pac-10 player says Oregon will run a lot of “BS stuff” and, oh, you may have heard, Tennessee lacks shower discipline.
- This next link comes to you courtesy of my ego. In the preseason, I compared Oregon 2010 to Tennessee 1998 and this guy agrees. So what if he thinks Nate Costa is the quarterback.
- We have heard plenty about Justin Wilcox, but Peter Sirmon is the one who actually coached at Oregon a year ago.
- I could tell a funny mascot story from my college years, but the guilty must be protected. Instead, settle for Ken Goe catching up with one of this year’s guys.
- A hideous looking blog (it’s the orange) called Vols in the Fall has an analysis of Oregon and its program.
- Here’s an AP story giving tips for traveling to a college football game.
- This, I’m guessing, is the most space the University of Connecticut has ever devoted to Oregon football.
- Finally, this headline was enough alone for me to link it up. What it says after that, I have no idea.
You might have heard of “Tweets.” OTP sends a few out on this thing called Twitter. Follow along if you dare.
