Hey, did you catch that performance by Arizona last night? Way to rep it Stoops! What is that, about 69-10 against the Big 12 in the last two bowl games for the Wildcats? Yikes. Can’t wait to see what Washington does for an encore tonight. I have to strongly disagree with one writer’s contention that [...]
Click Tales: Yeah, there are links, but also a personal tale of happiness
Before the links, a short story from last night.
The room was dark. Light had forgotten how to work its way into the room I hadn’t left in days. I’d given up shaving, was still wearing the same clothes from last Thursday and was eating only thanks to a feeding tube. It was stage 5 no-Natty ticket depression. Heavy stuff, to be sure. And then, with the surprise of a Jake Locker completion, my phone rings.
Click Tales: There are new uniforms and they are, meh, mostly the same.
These are some slow, boring days. But just think what it’ll be like after Jan. 11. Even worse. At this point, I’m actually looking forward to Ohio vs. Troy on Saturday.
Click Tales: Tick, tock, tick, tock, somebody fast-forward the big bad clock
Just our luck, ain’t it? The one week of the year where the days last 48 hours instead of 24 happens to fall on the same week that we’re waiting for, like, the most important football game ever. Coooome on, already!
Click Tales: Going Deep Into Rumors and Innuendo at Auburn
Do you realize that this bye week was actually what it’s going to be like for all but three more weeks until next September? Talk about depressing. Maybe a scandalous link full of rumors and innuendo can cheer us up.
Click Tales: In Search of a Mild-Mannered, Even-Keeled, Completely Sane Story
It’s just drama and scandal out there. I can’t take it anymore. I MUST find a story incapable of provoking me. No allegations of wrong-doing, no bad news, just a simple, well-written and completely forgettable story. Here we go.
Click Tales: Defense is Good. Of Course, There’s Always a “But”
I was in the middle of the links today when the internet gave me the signal for “strained pinky finger.” I took a few links off, but persevered and still finished. It wasn’t that hard, because, you know, I was never actually hurt.
Click Tales: Oh Yeah, There’s a Cam Newton Link
It’s a travel day. Well, a travel hour anyway. The blog hopes to remedy the rain-soaked debacle that was Berkeley circa 2008. What I can actually do about it, I don’t know. Perhaps tailgate harder? I’ll try. Links…
Click Tales: With Nothing New on Cam Newton, These Links Have Lost Their Way
There will be no rapping today. Unless you want me to. Do you want that? I mean, I can keep going.
Click Tales: All Drama, All the Time
Today’s links are all about the drama. After all, actual games are only 3% of what makes college football tick.
